MAKR was co-founded by Jim Liszewski in the fall of 2023. A self-described “non-Artist”, he has been involved in multiple businesses and start-ups that have supported thousands of Artists across the creative spectrum with companies such as Kodak Gallery, Shutterfly and Scalable. An experienced Advertising and Marketing services industry professional, he was an early adopter of high-quality digital imaging - pioneering many of the techniques now considered industry standards.
He recognizes the challenge to most Artists is the business aspects of selling and managing their creative assets. His vision with MAKR is to provide an Artist Services entity that allows the Artist to devote as much time as possible to the creative process.
